Courses Summary

Coded Welder program are designed to help create a skilled and competent workforce. Our training covers the main arc welding processes that are used by industry, including SMAW, GTAW, GMAW and FCAW. Welder qualification tests are witnessed by CIDB approved welding examiners and conducted in line with recognized international standards.

The course provides a full appreciation in the techniques and method of Penetrant Inspection. This includes Introduction to penetrant method, Principle of penetrant testing, Penetrant inspection equipment, Performance check, Defect detection and evaluation, Penetrant techniques, relevant standard and hands-on practical.

Blasting and Painting Technician (Level 1 & 2) is designed to satisfy the needs of the Malaysia Oil and Gas, Exploration and Production industry. The scheme is aimed at improving the quality of workmanship resulting in stronger confidence of higher quality painting and lower overall cost. This aspect is in line with ISO 9001 process control and also reduces micro inspection. This is in accordance with SIJIL KOMPETENSI KEMAHIRAN PEMBINAAN (SKKP) CIDB (AKTA 520) mandatory requirement.

Non-Destructive Testing

The program offers intensive practical training together with strong theoretical foundation that enables personnel to achieve a solid understanding of Non-destructive testing program. Designed to create competent NDT personnel in methods of PT, MT, RI and UT in accordance with ISO 9712.

PENETRANT TESTING (PT)

Course Information

Penetrant Testing (PT) is one of the non-destructive testing (NDT) methods used for the detection of surface breaking imperfections. The Penetrant Testing method is based on the capillary action of liquids. It employs various chemicals which must be used in accordance with a prescribed procedure. This method is known for its simplicity and relative effectiveness. It belongs to the group of conventional NDT methods.

During the course, the candidates will gain a comprehensive understanding of Penetrant Testing principles that will enable them to implement this method competently.

MAGNETIC TESTING (MT)

Course Information

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) is one of the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods used for the detection of surface or subsurface imperfections. The Magnetic Particle Testing method is based on the ability of a material to be magnetized. Material discontinuities (if oriented suitably) may lead to magnetic flux leakage that forms an indication. This method is known for its speed, productivity, and relative accuracy. It belongs to the group of conventional NDT methods.

During the course candidates will gain a comprehensive understanding of Magnetic Particle Testing principles that will enable them to implement this method competently.

RADIOGRAPHIC INTERPRETATION (RI)

Course Information

Radiographic Interpreter (RI) is a limited qualification related to radiographic testing, a method used for detection of internal material defects. The qualified Radiographic Interpreter should have the skill to interpret and evaluate a radiographic image in term of image quality as well as object acceptability. This includes being able to identify indications correctly, recognize the nature of a defect, measure relevant dimensions and record position so that if the defect is considered unacceptable, it may be located on the object and remedial action taken.

During the course the candidate will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Radiographic Testing method that will enable them to understand radiographic images.

RADIOGRAPHIC INTERPRETATION (RI)

Course Information

Radiographic Interpreter (RI) is a limited qualification related to radiographic testing, a method used for detection of internal material defects. The qualified Radiographic Interpreter should have the skill to interpret and evaluate a radiographic image in term of image quality as well as object acceptability. This includes being able to identify indications correctly, recognize the nature of a defect, measure relevant dimensions and record position so that if the defect is considered unacceptable, it may be located on the object and remedial action taken.

During the course the candidate will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Radiographic Testing method that will enable them to understand radiographic images.

This method is known for its simplicity and relative effectiveness. It belongs to the group of conventional NDT methods.

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) is one of the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods used for the detection of surface or subsurface imperfections. The Magnetic Particle Testing method is based on the ability of a material to be magnetized.
